Carrie SeaThe Eskenazi Health Cycling team welcomes new rider Carrie Sea as she prepares to participate in her first Ride Across Indiana and participate in the sixth annual Ride to Remember event. As a new cyclist, Sea says her favorite training route is her commute to and from work. She says that it has been her inspiration to ride even more.

Sea is using RAIN and the Ride to Remember 6 event to meet other cyclists at Eskenazi Health and share her new interest in cycling.

Sea’s favorite cycling quote is “Let me tell you what I think of bicycling. I think it has done more to emancipate women than anything else in the world. It gives women a feeling of freedom and self-reliance. I stand and rejoice every time I see a woman ride by on a wheel…the picture of free, untrammelled womanhood.” – Susan B. Anthony

Sea is all set to participate in Ride to Remember which will take place July 11 at St. Mary of the Woods College in Terre Haute, Ind. The ride will stretch for 160 miles and end in Richmond, Ind.
